Equation of a Circle Given Three Points on the Circumference
In this tutorial I show you how you can find the equation of a circle passing through three points on the circumference.
I start by giving the general method then go on to work through a basic example and then in the second video I look at a harder problem.
(1) Find the equation of the circle passing through the points (-1,5), (3,5) and (3,-1)
(2) Find the equation of the circle passing through the points (-2,2), (5,1) and (-2,-6)
