Two particles colliding head on and then separating
In this video I show you how to handle two particles colliding and then moving on as one.
Two trucks A and B of mass 500kg and 800kg respectively are travelling in the same direction. Truck A is moving at 3ms-1 and B is moving at 2ms-1. Eventually the two trucks collide and join together. What is their common speed? What assumptions have been made?
