Finding Points of Intersection between a Parametric and Cartesian Equation

In this video tutorial I show you how to find the point(s) of intersection between a parametric curve and a cartesian curve.

The following example is used.

\text{A curve C has parametric equations } \\ \\ x=\dfrac{t}{1-t} \text{, }y=\dfrac{1+t}{t} \text{ where }t\in \mathbb{R} \text{, } t\not= 0 \text{, } 1 \\ \\ \text{The line } y=2x+1 \text{ intersects the curve C.} \\ \\ \text{Find the points of intersection.}
