Motion in a straight line with constant acceleration (suvat)

In this video, I show you how to derive the equations for constant acceleration in a straight line.

I would certainly encourage you to learn them as they are used in many examples which I will show you.

These equations are:

  •     \[{v = u + at}\]

  •     \[{s = ut + {\textstyle{1 \over 2}}a{t^2}}\]

  •     \[{s = vt - {\textstyle{1 \over 2}}a{t^2}}\]

  •     \[{{v^2} = {u^2} + 2as}\]

  •     \[{s = \frac{{(u + v)}}{2}t}\]
