Intersecting and skew lines

If two lines are not parallel then they will either intersect or be skew. In this video you will be shown what this means and how to do the following question

  1. l_1 \text{ and } l_2 \text{ are two lines, where} \\ \\ l_1 : \bf{r} = \left( {\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} 1\\ { - 2}\\ 4 \end{array}} \right) + \lambda \left( {\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} 5\\ 1\\ { - 3} \end{array}} \right) \ \ \text{ and } \ \ l_2 : \bf{r} = \left( {\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} {17}\\ 4\\ 5 \end{array}} \right) + \mu \left( {\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} 6\\ 4\\ 7 \end{array}} \right) \ \ \\ \\ \\ \text{Do the lines intersect and if so, what are the coordinates of the point of intersection?}
