In the following videos I introduce you to solving modulus inequalities of different types. I am assuming that you are already familiar with the methods used in solving mod equations.

Examples: Solve

  1. |4x – 3| > 5
  2. |3x + 2| < 4
  3. |3 – 5x| < 7

In this video I show you how to solve inequalities where we have two functions of x being ‘modded’ by graphical and calculation methods.

Example: Solve

  1. |2x – 3| > |x + 3|

Lastly, I show you how to solve a function of x on one side of the inequality and on the other a function of x which is ‘modded’. Again there are two methods of solution, but you need to take care with these.

Example: Solve

  1. x + 6 > |3x + 2|
